What if I read 10 pages every day?
Ten pages a day, added up — in pages and in books.
In total, about
3,653 pages
- Active days
- 365
- That is about this many books
- 12.2
- Pages a week
- 70
Assumptions behind this result
- 10 pages a day, 7 days a week, for 1 year.
- A year is counted as 365.25 days, so leap years are included.
- 300 pages per one of the books — change it to match yours.
Ten pages a day is easy to dismiss as too little to matter. Here is what it adds up to. Change the pages, the days a week and the length of a typical book for you.
How it is worked out
Active days are the number of days in the period that you actually do it: years × 365.25 × days a week ÷ 7. The total is your daily amount multiplied by the active days.
The total is then divided by the figure you set for one of the books. It is an assumption you can change, so the result is only as exact as that figure.
